Associate Producer – Live Operations

We are looking for a talented production minded individual to help manage our live games.  The role includes oversight of internal development resources and schedules in addition to managing relationships with external partners and contract developers.  The ideal candidate will be an outstanding human being, detail oriented, have a passion for music and gaming, and possess excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Content Pipeline Management
    • Schedule and drive content development for live Harmonix products including Rock Band and Dance Central working with internal and contract development resources
    • Coordinate content submissions, pricing and release of content with platform partners including Microsoft, Sony and Oculus
    • Collaborate with internal marketing, music and legal teams on music selection for live content
  • Franchise Content Management
    • Collaborate with our marketing team and product owners to create content sales, promotions, special offers and bundling
    • Manage vast pool of existing live content for multiple Harmonix franchises with platform partners
    • Manage the creation, scheduling and execution of live game content in collaboration with our project community teams and live ops engineers
    • Coordinate with our community team, QA staff and live ops engineers to identify and resolve issues with live products

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Game production, software production, or project management experience preferred
  • Ability to execute basic production skills including scheduling, problem solving, team management, and risk identification and management
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in learning new software/portals

 

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of music/rhythm games
  • Familiarity with multiple gaming platforms
  • Experience working with teams of varied size, backgrounds and disciplines
  • Experience with agile methodologies
